Born 23 January 1975, Moscow. Elena graduated from the faculty of Journalism at MSSU (Moscow State Social University). Between 1991-1992 she worked at the state Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Ostankino (TRBCO) in the editor's office of the 16+ ("Under and Over 16") programme as director's assistant. Between 1992-1993 she worked on "Tsentr" and "100 C" programs on Ostankino Television and Radio Broadcasting board, as assistant director and reporter. Between 1993-1995 TRBC Ostankino, music board, "50x50" program as assistant director and director. Between1995-2001 MIBC (Moscow Independent Broadcasting Corporation) at "TV-6 Moscow" channel as director, head of broadcasting-design department and chief channel director. In 2001-2002 she was deputy head of production director on "NTV" JSC . Since March 2006 Elena has worked as Executive Director of the Russian Open Film festival "Kinotavr".
